SCRIPTURAL INTERPRETATION OF THE CONFIRMING OF DAN. 9:27 COVENANT WITH MANY
I am in COMPLETE agreement with the statement that whatever we receive from the Lord, it ABSOLUTELY CANNOT CONTRADICT SCRIPTURE. Many of you are completely confident of your interpretation of Daniel 9:27, and I was in agreement with what you believe for many years. Most watchmen believe this is THE KEY verse that begins the Final 7 Years. I have been a Bible Prophecy student for 35 years, and preached in several dozen churches in the 1990's on end-times Bible Prophecy, quoting Dan. 9:27 many times, with the same interpretation that most of you have. And I always believed that the 70th Week of Daniel and the Tribulation comprised the EXACT same 7-year period, and they still may. First, a Rapture and then, a 7-year peace treaty to start the 7-year Tribulation. I had been taught that for years and taught others that.
When the Lord revealed to me the identity of the Antichrist, and the exact time frame of the 70th Week of Daniel, there is NO way that I could accept it, until I had confirmed it with the Word. I immediately went to my Strong's Concordance, and did a word-by-word study of Daniel 9:27, to see for myself what it said, not what somebody else had taught me. Have you ever done that with Daniel 9:27? I challenge you to do that, but only with an open mind. Let the Holy Spirit lead you, not pre-conceived ideas and teachings. That is not an easy thing to do.
Some believe the "He" in Daniel 9:27 is Jesus. Most, like myself, believe it is the Antichrist. "Confirm" means to strengthen, or make stronger. The word "covenant" will surprise you, as there is not even a hint of it being a treaty of any type, let alone a peace treaty. Please look it up for yourself and tell me I am wrong. My message has gone out to several thousand people, and NOT ONE PERSON has come back to me and said they did their own Hebrew study of Daniel 9:27, and told me that my study was wrong. NOT EVEN ONE. Now many have tried to tell me that I was wrong because of what they had always been taught, or their pre-conceived ideas.
It seems like nobody wants to take the time and effort to do a thorough word study to find out the truth. "With many" is the phrase that we have always been taught means Israel and several other countries. The Hebrew word "many" here actually means vast multitudes of people, or millions, not a handful of Middle East countries. So a thorough Word study of Daniel 9:27 (please do not write back to me unless you have recently done a thorough open-minded Hebrew Word study of this verse on your own) reveals NOTHING ABOUT ANY TREATY, NOTHING ABOUT ANY PEACE AGREEMENT, NOTHING ABOUT ISRAEL, AND NOTHING ABOUT A HANDFUL OF MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES (NOT EVEN A HINT OF ANY OF THAT).
I know that it sounds right, and SEEMS to support the context, and also, SEEMS to flow with other Scriptures in the Bible. But this is supposed to be the primary verse in Scripture that supports that "theory", or teaching. The Hebrew language in this particular all-important verse does not even come close to supporting this teaching that so many Christians take as the absolute truth, without even studying it for themselves. Now, I do believe there could be an agreement of some type made with Obama and Israel and others, but it CANNOT be 7 years in length, as we now have less than 6 years to go before the end of the 70th Week of Daniel, and the literal Second Coming of Christ. It also CANNOT be the covenant of Daniel 9:27.
Can you name me one peace treaty that is only supposed to last for a certain amount of time? A pre-set condition of a determined length of time, such as 7 years, is unheard of, but Christians swallow it up, because that is what so-and-so teaches, or because that is what they read someplace. "For one week" does mean 7 Jewish years, or 2520 days. What this verse is teaching us is that the confirming of the covenant will comprise one Sabbatical week, and culminate at the end of that Sabbatical week. Not only is Sept. 23, 2015, the end of a Sabbatical week, but it is the end of a Jubilee cycle of 49 years. So a year like 2015 comes along only once every 49 years.
Most Biblical watchmen accept June 6--7, 1967, as the budding of the fig tree, the day that Israel re-captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War. This is the date that thrust the world into the last generation. 7 times 7, or one Jubilee cycle, times 360 days, representing a Jewish year, added to this date of June 6--7, takes us EXACTLY to Feast of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have the signs in the Heavens that the Lord referred to with the lunar and solar eclipses pointing us to this day also. You can chalk all of the evidence pointing us to this ONE DAY, Sept. 23, 2015, Feast of Atonement, up to coincidence if you want to. That is between you and God.
But if you back up 2520 days from this last day of the 70th Week of Daniel, you arrive at Oct. 29, 2008, EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can call that another coincidence if you like. But if the calculations are ALL there, the signs in the Heavens are there, the correct Feast Day is there, maybe, just maybe we should look at that day of Oct. 29, 2008, to see if there was anything resembling the confirming of a covenant by a very strong candidate to be the Antichrist on that very day.
Or we can do the opposite, and chalk all of the above (and there is even more than what I have presented here), to just coincidence. We can stick to our pre-conceived ideas about a 7-year peace treaty and the Rapture before the Final 7 Years, and never open a concordance to find out if maybe, just maybe, we have been wrongly interpreting Daniel 9:27 all of these years. After all, how could so many other great men of God have the same incorrect misinterpretation?
Well, at the 1st Coming of Jesus, most everybody missed it because they did not correctly interpret the Scriptures. What the Scribes and Pharisees were teaching them, supposedly from Scripture, about the Messiah did not fit what they thought was the Biblical description of the Messiah, so He was rejected by the vast multitude at His 1st Coming.
When it comes to the end-times, I believe in progressive revelation. Many Scripture cannot be properly interpreted until they have actually happened. Nobody ever had a proper interpretation of Rev. 8:1, about the silence in heaven for about an half an hour. UNTIL IT HAPPENED. IT IS THE EXACT LENGTH OF OBAMA'S SPEECH ON OCT. 29, 2008!!!!!! All of Heaven stood stunned and speechless for 30 minutes as the Antichrist was revealed and the 1st day of the 70th Week of Daniel was revealed. Daniel 9:27 and Rev. 8:1 were one and the same event. For me to make that statement so confidently, I had to spend literally one whole 4-day weekend praying and searching the Scriptures and seeking the Lord.
After a thorough Word study of Daniel 9:27, using Strong's Concordance, here is what happened on the day of Oct. 29, 2008, to fulfill that verse, and also fulfill Rev. 8:1. For months, Obama had been setting forth his platform, his promises, his COVENANT, and the CHANGES he was going to make when he became President. On Oct. 29, 2008, He chose to CONFIRM, or strengthen, or make stronger, or summarize his platform, his promises, HIS COVENANT, and his CHANGES. He promised to not only make great CHANGES to the U.S., but also promised to CHANGE THE WORLD, thereby fulfilling other Scriptures at the same time. He did this in front of vast multitudes of people. Yes, many millions on TV, as he bought time on several major TV stations, and many millions more on news telecasts and broadcasts, and on the internet, have viewed this historic moment in history.
78% of the Jews voted for this man, as we must consider that in New York City alone, they have almost as many Jews as the entire nation of Israel. Very simply, Obama confirmed the covenant with many for one week, the covenant of Dan. 9:27, on Oct. 29, 2008. It will end one Jewish week later, one Sabbatical cycle later, one Jubilee cycle from June 6--7, 1967, EXACTLY ON THE CORRECT JEWISH HOLY DAY OF FEAST OF ATONEMENT, SEPT. 23, 2015, THE VERY DAY THAT HAS SO MANY THINGS POINTING TOWARDS IT!!!!!!!!!!! The odds of all of this happening just by coincidence are astronomical to say the least. Probably several trillion to one.
There is nothing contrary to Scripture here. It is only contrary to some people's INTERPRETATION of Scripture. When the Lord SUPERNATURALLY CONFIRMS something like this to me, there is absolutely no room for doubt (in my mind). I did not receive any dreams, or visions. The Lord knew how widespread the misinterpretation of this Scripture was. That is why He had to give me SEVEN SUPERNATURAL CONFIRMATIONS, THREE OF THEM WITHIN 24 HOURS. This way nobody can EVER convince me that what He has shown me is not the truth. He has revealed it to me by His Spirit. He has given me the correct Biblical interpretation using the Hebrew language, and He has chosen to give me supernatural confirmations. I asked the Lord for just ONE confirmation. It was He who chose to give me SEVEN. WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!
In summary, I believe my interpretation of Daniel 9:27 and Rev. 8:1 is completely Biblical. I believe it is the correct interpretation. I am so sincere in this conviction, that I retired 4 to 6 years before I had planned on, just because the Lord called me to be a full-time watchman. I had a very good job with the U.S. Postal Service, but the Lord had other plans for me. He saw my faithfulness for twelve years sending out tracts that I had written and newsletters to several thousand people, with almost 10,000,000 tracts in circulation. I probably spent as much time on my end-times Bible Prophecy ministry, as I did at my employment.
When the Lord revealed this information to me that Obama was the Antichrist and the 70th Week of Daniel was from Oct. 29, 2008, to Feast of Atonement, Sept. 23, 2015, I asked for just one conformation and that, if He would give it to me, I would boldly proclaim this message to as many as possible. After SEVEN SUPERNATURAL CONFIRMATIONS, it must be a message that the Lord wants to be widespread. I retired March 28th of 2009, the day the Lord showed me He wanted me to become a full-time watchman, and I now have over 2500 people on my current mailing list in one year's time. He knew that I would be faithful and diligent, and the Lord is helping me fulfill His calling for my life.
